Indicator light description

SIM card detection indicator

After the module is powered on, the device will automatically detect whether a SIM card is inserted. If a SIM card is inserted, the light is off, otherwise the light is on. (Since some customers’ SIM cards are cut by card cutter/manually cut, it may not be recognized by the device.)

Network indicator

When the device uses 3G/4G data to go online, the indicator light will be on. If you use an external network such as broadband to access the Internet, or the traffic runs out, the indicator light will go out.

WAN port/LAN port indicator

    When the WAN port/LAN port of the device is connected to the network cable, the light will always be on or flashing.

    When the router's WAN port is connected to the network cable to obtain the IP of the superior router, the router will automatically disconnect the 4G network and use the network port to access the Internet, saving 4G traffic card traffic; when the WAN port is not connected to the network cable, the router will automatically turn on the 4G Internet function.

Question 1: Where can I download the product information?

Question 2: Does the module support secondary development?

The module adopts the MT7688A+EC20 solution, and currently only supports function customization related research and development.

Question 3: What is the operating voltage/current of the module?

The module is powered by 5V. Please ensure that the voltage is stable when supplying power. Overvoltage will cause the module to burn out. (Note: The default power supply of the development board is 5V1A)

Question 4: How to modify the wifi account and password of the module

The default IP of the module's backend web page is 192.168.16.254, and the initial account/password are both username and password admin. (See the figure below for details)
